It is a universal access junction box that allows the continuity and segregation of medium capacity optical cables used in the deployment of optical feeding and transport networks.

The design of the box allows the mechanical continuity of the cable traction elements and protects the fibers, the joints and the optical devices, facilitating the organization of the splices and the storage of excess fiber.

The box is hermetic and resistant to weather conditions, so it can be installed both outside and inside buildings in inspection chambers, manholes, walls, posts or cable galleries.

Features of CAU-002 Optic Fiber Splice Enclosure

  • There are four independent cable channels at one end. Each allows for personalized input of at least two half capacity multi fiber cables (dual input) and up to six small capacity cables or optical cables (7mm).

  • Due to the use of a clamp type seal, the sealing cap can be completely installed and removed without the need for special tools.

  • The sealing of the cable entering the box is done through a rubber joint with a pre cut inlet.

  • Instrument input/output cables with a diameter of 22 to 7 millimeters. Up to 256 F.O. combinations (double layer).

  • Wide rectangular splicing tray, easy to access, with expandable Pestan ̃ as to improve.

  • Fiber storage up to 32 F.O. (double layer). Both support blocks and individual pallets are allowed.

  • Rotate 90 degrees and interlock in a fixed position for easy installation.

  • The box can be opened, closed, and operated without interrupting the operating circuit. Allow connection and isolation of cables.
